SynQor Introduces DC/DC Converters for Railway & Transportation Applications.110V input range meets EN50155 requirements BOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- SynQor today announces the release of the IQ1B series of 110V input Quarter Brick DC/DC Converters, targeting Railway & Transportation Applications. The wide input voltage range of 66-160V more than covers the requirements of EN50155 for both steady state and transient voltage conditions. A broad range of output voltages are available, with a maximum power level of 150W in the industry standard 2.30" x 1.45" quarter brick package size. Available output voltages are 1.8V/40A; 3.3V/30A; 5V/25A; 7V/20A; 12V/12A; 15V/10A; 24V/6A; 30V/5A and 48V/3A. Efficiency is as high as 91%. The IQ1B family of devices are available in three mechanical configurations, namely open frame, baseplated and fully encapsulated encapsulated Localized Oncology adjective Confined to a specific area, surrounded by a thin layer of fibrous tissue; encapsulation generally refers to a tumor confined to a specific area, surrounded by a capsule. See Islet encapsulation. . The open frame and baseplated models meet basic-insulation requirements while the encapsulated models meet reinforced. All models have at least 2250Vdc isolation rating between input and output. Calculated MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) The average time a component works without failure. It is the number of failures divided by the hours under observation. MTBF - Mean Time Between Failures figures are in excess of 2MHrs, and all units are fully 6/6 RoHS compliant. Control and protection features include remote sense, remote enable, a wide output voltage trim range of -20% to +10%, input under-voltage lockout lockout, intentional closing up of a company, factory, or shop by an employer to prevent employees from working during a strike or labor dispute. The term lockout , output OVP OVP Originalverpackt (German: original packaging) OVP Over Voltage Protection OVP Ostvorpommern (German number plate area code) OVP Originalverpackung (German) , current limit, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown shut·down n. A cessation of operations or activity, as at a factory. shutdown Noun the closing of a factory, shop, or other business Verb shut down . Operating temperature range is -40 to +100degC. Sample and production quantities are available immediately with a stock to 8-week lead-time. The modules are priced at $103 in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and quantities.
