Also being demonstrated in Cisco Systems' stand number 1.D71, TimeCreator is a compliant DOCSIS[R] Timing Interface (DTI) Server designed to deliver the most reliable and precise time and frequency synchronization to support new broadband cable services. The DVB Sync Source is a high performance, flexible and highly reliable timing system for Single Frequency Network (SFN) synchronization for Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) and Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) applications. There will also be an overview of the Q-1000 and Q-1200 Headend Analyzers.
Symmetricom will also provide an overview of the core technology deployed in its award-winning source video analyzer Q-1000 and the new headend analyzer Q-1200, demonstrating how this technology monitors the quality and integrity of source video, detects impairments from ad-insertion processes, encoding/transcoding or up/down conversions and ensures an ideal user experience from the video headend.
