Symmetricom Delivers Synchronization Solutions for

Full-Service Telecom Provider In The Philippines and Victoria's

Largest Electricity Distributor

Symmetricom(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:SYMM SYMM Synchronized Multimedia (W3C Working Group) ) today announced it is supporting two new international customers with the company's industry-leading network synchronization solutions. The adoption of Symmetricom's products by Globe Telecom, a full-service telecommunications provider in the Philippines, and Powercor Australia, Victoria's largest electricity distributor and provider of network infrastructure for more than 64 percent of Victoria, illustrate the growing demand for network synchronization solutions in the international market.

"Synchronization is a critical element in the ongoing build out of global wireline and wireless networks," said Eduardo Inzunza, vice president of marketing for Symmetricom. "Our intelligent synchronization solutions continue to set the standard for maximizing bandwidth and enabling exceptional reliability and quality of voice, data, and video service transported across networks around the globe."

Symmetricom has been serving the global network synchronization and timing market since 1984, and maintains the market share lead in synchronization and timing. All communications networks -- whether wireless, wireline, long-distance, local or cable -- require proper synchronization to eliminate low data throughput, degraded voice quality and jerky jerky
