), today announced the appointment of Kenneth V. Jaeggi as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jaeggi, 51, has been chief financial officer for two Fortune 500 technology companies, Data General and Scientific-Atlanta.

Before joining Electromagnetic Sciences, Jaeggi was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. from 1992 to 1994. From 1988 to 1992, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Imagraph Corporation, a maker of hardware and software for application-specific workstations. He was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Data General Corporation from 1980 to 1987. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and Controller for Zenith Electronics Zenith Electronics Corporation is an American manufacturer of televisions headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois. It was the inventor of the modern remote control, and it introduced HDTV in North America.  Corporation from 1971 to 1980. A native of Long Island, Jaeggi received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University Northwestern University, mainly at Evanston, Ill.; coeducational; chartered 1851, opened 1855 by Methodists. In 1873 it absorbed Evanston College for Ladies.  and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
