Through the SYMCore design program, Symbios Logic will offer its SYMCore functional blocks which provide high performance, low-power consumption and advanced debugging capabilities for ASIC integration. By providing needed base-line functionality, along with customer developed logic, Symbios Logic will allow circuits and design engineers to consolidate an entire system on a single piece of silicon, and ultimately enable its customers to achieve higher profits.

With the introduction of its SYMCore functional blocks, Symbios Logic is enabling ASIC design engineers to put increasingly more functional ity on a single chip. This, in turn, provides significant benefits in the product development cycle -- board sizes are reduced, part counts decrease, power requirements drop and, most importantly, development time and production costs are slashed. In addition, system performance and reliability are significantly improved.
