Sylantro Systems Selects Spirent Communication Abacus 5000 Test System.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Spirent's Abacus 5000 IP Telephony Test System Employed to Validate Massive Scalability and Reliability of Sylantro's Carrier-Class VoIP Applications

Spirent Communications(TM) (NYSE:SPM) (LSE:SPT), today announced that Sylantro Systems has selected Spirent's Abacus 5000 IP Telephony Migration Test System to validate the performance, scalability and reliability of its telecom-grade application server platform.

The comprehensive, high capacity Abacus 5000 IP Telephony Migration Test System incorporates triple play, conformance and security/robustness test methodologies. Triple-play testing provides thorough validation of voice services in the presence of data and video services across the IP and public switched telephone network (PSTN) infrastructures. Conformance testing ensures that products adhere to specified standards whilst robustness testing ensures that reliability and dependability concerns are minimized.
