Sylantro Systems Appoints Ronald Raffensperger Senior Vice President of Marketing; Veteran Telecom Exec to Expand Marketing Support for Service Provider VoIP Deployments.


CAMPBELL, Calif. -- Sylantro Systems Corporation, the leading provider of hosted PBX (Private Branch eXchange) An inhouse telephone switching system that interconnects telephone extensions to each other as well as to the outside telephone network (PSTN).  and IP Centrex solutions to service providers around the world, today announced the appointment of Ronald Raffensperger as the company's senior vice president, Marketing. Mr. Raffensperger will have full responsibility for product management, product marketing, all corporate, channel and partner marketing, public relations and marketing communications. In addition, Mr. Raffensperger will further expand Sylantro's leadership in providing service providers with the go-to-market support needed as they expand their VoIP deployments.

Mr. Raffensperger joins Sylantro Systems after 30 years in product management and marketing positions in the telecom industry, most recently at Network Focus, Inc., which provides advanced outsourced voice and data services for small businesses, including provisioning of IP telephony systems. He has also held senior positions at Siemens, ROLM/IBM, Telebit Corporation and General Telephone.
