Sybari Software, Inc., the premier developers of Antigen, a comprehensive anti-virus, content-filtering, and e-mail security solution for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Lotus Domino/Notes, and VirusBuster, a leading provider of Anti-Virus solutions and technology, today announced the strengthening of their existing partnership agreement concerning the sale and support of Sybari products in Eastern Europe.

This announcement demonstrates Sybari's continued support for VirusBuster's solid proven reputation, support capabilities and strong market presence in Eastern Europe. As part of the relationship, Sybari has extended its Value Added Distribution (VAD) Level of Partnership to VirusBuster. The framework of this agreement enables Sybari and VirusBuster to work more closely together to continue to build a network of channel partners and offer Sybari's secure messaging and collaboration solutions for Corporate clientele throughout Eastern Europe.

Enhancements to the Antigen user interface, Antigen Worm Purge, and support for Microsoft's Virus Scanning Application Program Interface (VS API 2.0) in MS Exchange 2000.

Antigen also includes Antigen Worm Purge(TM)a proactive safeguard tool that allows network administrators to prevent the overload of virus-generated messages churned out when worm viruses are unleashed in an environment. Worm Purge deletes messages containing worm viruses in their entirety and prevents new worm threats from spreading before scanner engines can be updated.
