Syabas UPnP AV Server Platform Enables Media Streaming on HP Home Storage Product.


FREMONT, Calif. -- Syabas Technology, Inc. announces the inclusion of the Syabas UPnP AV Server as the media streaming platform on the HP Media Vault Description
The Media Vault is manufactured by HP and comes in two flavors:
  1. mv2010 comes with an internal 300 GB drive
  2. mv2020 comes with an internal 500 GB drive
  3. mv2040 comes with an internal 500 GB drive + 500 GB drive in the Drive Bay
 home storage product.

Syabas Technology offers a cost effective and high-performance commercial digital media server. The growth of digital media content requires a strong technological platform provider to offer interoperability for maximizing consumer benefit. Syabas' complete reference platform enables OEMs and ODMs to respond rapidly to market demands for devices designed to manage digital media content on a home network.

The HP Media Vault provides consumers with a powerful and affordable tool for protecting, streaming, sharing and simplifying their personal digital libraries. Sold as either a 300GB or 500GB product, the HP Media Vault is expandable and can ultimately store an impressive 1.2 TB.

Using the Syabas DLNA-certified UPnP media streaming technology, the HP Media Vault streams digital content - movies, photos, music and TV shows - to home entertainment systems and PCs/notebooks on the home network.
