Oberthur Card Systems Inc., the Compton-based maker of credit cards, announced that JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM TYO: 8634 ) is one of the oldest financial services firms in the world. The company, headquartered in New York City, is one of the leaders in investment banking, financial services, asset and wealth management and private equity. With assets of $1.  & Co., American Express American Express (NYSE: AXP), sometimes known as "AmEx" or "Amex", is a diversified global financial services company, headquartered in New York City. The company is best known for its credit card, charge card and traveler's cheque businesses.  Co., Citibank CITIBANK First National City Bank , KeyBank and Citizens Banking Corp. have launched contactless credit card programs using Oberthur cards.

The U.S. division of France-based Francois-Charles Oberthur Group, Oberthur Card Systems is the top supplier of Visa and MasterCard credit cards and has been developing new technology for payment transactions. The contactless card means the days of "swiping" your card and signing the receipt are almost over.
