Swig Burris buys 80 Broad Street.

 announced that his firm has closed on the purchase of 80 Broad Street in partnership with Broadway Management.

Swig Burris will serve as the leasing agent and property manager on 80 Broad Street, reported to have sold for around $70 million.

Located in the heart of Downtown Manhattan's financial district, this 36-story, 400,000 s/f multitenant office building was built in 1930 and was designed by architects Sloan & Robertson.

Building upon Swig Burris Equities' successful renovation and leasing of 48 Wall Street, 44 Wall Street, and 5 Hanover Square Hanover Square may mean:
  • Hanover Square, Coagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
  • Hanover Square, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland
  • Hanover Square, Herne Bay, Canterbury, England
  • Hanover Square, Kingston upon Hull, England
  • Hanover Square, Leeds, England
, the firm plans to transform 80 Broad Street into a luxury boutique office building offering first class tenant services, amenities and security through a capital improvement program.

Renovations to the building will include a renovated building lobby; newly refurbished elevator cabs; new core bathrooms and new multi-tenant floor upgrades for newly signed leases within the building; and the installation of state of the art security and fire/ life safety systems.
