Swedish Mobile Operator NewPhone Chooses the Sonim Push to Talk Solution for its Enterprise Subscribers.

The Sonim solution will allow NewPhone to offer one-to-one and one-to-many push to talk (PTT) capabilities to industrial, field and other mobile workers leveraging Sonim's unique XP1 handset, the first ruggedized, IP52-complaint handset to offer the OMA PoC PTT capability.

The Sonim solution includes not only the XP1 designed with such features as extra large interface buttons, an oversized screen for better visibility outdoors and extended battery life, but also a complete desktop dispatch capability that allows a dispatcher to interact with up to 20 simultaneous calls and to broadcast to thousands of simultaneous users.
