Swagelok Company, a major developer and manufacturer of fluid system component technologies, today announced the results of recent director elections, including a new chairman of the board and the addition of two new independent directors.

Re-elected to the board of directors and to the role of chairman of the board was Edward A. Lozick, 66. Mr. Lozick is married to Catherine L. Lozick, the daughter of the deceased founder of Swagelok, Fred A. Lennon. Mr. Lozick served in various capacities at Swagelok for the past 28 years.

Thomas J. Janoch, 64, the former chief financial officer of the company, was also re-elected to the board. Mr. Janoch retired from Swagelok in 1998 and was formerly a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  with Hausser & Taylor.

Re-elected to the board was Arthur F. Anton, 46, president and chief executive officer. Mr. Anton has been a member of the board since 1998.

The company added two new outside directors to its board. Elected were James C. Boland, 63, vice chairman of Cavs/Gund Arena Company (CGAC CGAC Consejo General de Colegios de Agentes Comerciales de EspaƱa (General Council of Business Agents' Associations of Spain)

), and William F. Ruschhaupt, M.D., 57, a member of the professional staff of the Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic (formally known as the Cleveland Clinic Foundation) is a multispecialty academic medical center located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Cleveland Clinic was established in 1921 by four physicians for the purpose of providing patient care, research, and medical  Foundation since 1978.

Mr. Boland, in addition to his experience with CGAC, is a 34-year veteran of the global professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  firm of Ernst & Young, where he served among other capacities as vice chairman and regional managing partner. Dr. Ruschhaupt maintains an active practice in the Clinic's Department of Cardiovascular Medicine--Section of Vascular Medicine, and is the Physician Director of Institutional Relations and Development for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
