Suzanne Capowich Joins Alea North America.Business Editors NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 2002 Suzanne Capowich has joined the Alea Group as Vice President, Contract Wording Manager, reporting to Stewart Laderman, Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer. In conjunction with George Judd, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Suzanne will be responsible for establishing and implementing best contract practice throughout the Group. Suzanne will assist with technical contract matters and will participate in the drafting and review of particularly unusual and complex contracts. Most recently, Suzanne was Vice President, Contracts Manager at PXRE Reinsurance The contract made between an insurance company and a third party to protect the insurance company from losses. The contract provides for the third party to pay for the loss sustained by the insurance company when the company makes a payment on the original contract. Company where she had oversight for all reinsurance contract documentation in support of the Direct Treaty Division. Suzanne brings over sixteen years of insurance and reinsurance contract wording experience in property and casualty lines to the Group. She began her career as a Market Underwriter with Allstate Insurance Company. From 1987 to 1994, Suzanne was an Underwriting Services Consultant with Insurance Services Office Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) is a provider of data, underwriting, risk management and legal/regulatory services to property-casualty insurers and other clients. She then joined Everest Reinsurance Company in 1994 as Contacts Manager and in 1998 joined the Swiss Re Group where she managed the design, delivery and evaluation of financial reinsurance solutions.
