Suspect held in Fitchburg stabbing.


FITCHBURG - A woman was charged last night with stabbing her boyfriend in the arm, according to police.

Sherry Neely, 39, of 1075 Main St., Fitchburg, was in police custody and was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Lt. Kevin M. O'Brien said the alleged victim in the case, whose identity was not immediately available, was stabbed in the arm and went to KC's Pub on Main Street to call police.

The man was taken to UMass Memorial - HealthAlliance Leominster Campus to be treated for the wound.
