Susan DeSantis.

WORCESTER - Susan R. (Folcarelli) DeSantis, 94, of Worcester died Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the Lutheran Home. Her husband of 48 years, Rocco L. DeSantis, died in 1989.

She leaves two children, Victor A. and his wife, Marie E., of Sterling and Anne M. and her husband, Winthrop Handy, of West Boylston. She was the loving grandmother to three grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. , Christopher, Nicole and David, and six great-grandchildren, Christopher, James, Ava, Mallory, Anna Mallory, (Anna Margrethe Bjurstedt) “Molla” (1892–1959) tennis player; born in Oslo, Norway. After immigrating to the United States in 1914, she won the U.S. women's national titles eight times (1915–18, 1920–22, 1926).  and Caroline.

Mrs. DeSantis was born in Worcester, daughter of Eluterio and Maria (Quatrucci) Folcarelli. She was predeceased by her sister, Antoinette Sequeira, in 1988.

Mrs. DeSantis and her husband, Rocco, owned and operated the former Rocky's Market on Gage Street Gage Street (Traditional Chinese: 結志街; Simplified Chinese: 结志街  in Worcester. She also worked at Putnam Card and Gift in Shrewsbury. In her younger years, she worked as head cashier in the former Loew's Poli Theater, now known as the Hanover Theater. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church and its Golden Years Noun 1. golden years - the time of life after retirement from active work

The funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 24.
