Survey Says CBM Exam is Comprehensive and Applicable to Your Career.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2003

The Association of Professionals in Business Management (APBM APBM Association of Professionals in Business Management ) announces survey results for Part One of the Certified Business Manager The Certified Business Manager (CBM) is a professional credential created and administered by the Association of Professionals in Business Management (APBM). APBM developed the Common Body of Knowledge for Business (CBKB), based on standard MBA curricula, as a standardized  (CBM) Exam.

Approximately 250 candidates registered for the CBM Exam Part One during April 1 - May 8, 2003, the first testing window. APBM conducted a survey to gauge candidates' exam experiences. Below are highlights:

-- 70% described the exam content as "comprehensive"

-- 71% would recommend the CBM Exam to a colleague (28% were

unsure)

-- 99% found the CBM Exam Preparation Guides useful

-- 49% felt the CBM Exam's subject matter was difficult or

extremely difficult

-- 29% felt the CBM Exam was "applicable to my career"

-- The number one reason candidates took the CBM Exam was to gain

additional business knowledge that is directly applicable to

their careers

The CBM is to a business manager as the CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism.
