Surprise Parcells.

New York Jets have gone from worst to first in just half-a-season, writes Alan McKinlay.

Coach Bill Parcells' nine-game miracle cure has taken the perennial cellar- dwelling Jets to a one-game lead in the AFC East following their 16-13 overtime win against Baltimore - the first time in 11 years the Jets have topped their division this late in the season.

John Hall hit the all-important 37-yard field goal.

Dallas fell to 4-5 after losing at San Francisco.
