John Licwinko, a systems engineer and business development guru, will be vice president of technology for SurferNETWORK. He founded Net Solutions Labs, an engineering and consulting business, in 1998 after 30 years in the industry,10 of them with AT&T in a series of technical management positions. Benjamin W. Day, Jr., will be director of technology. A creative technical and operations executive, he has been vice president of engineering and operations for Net Solutions Labs and previously was with Lucent Technologies, AT&T Bell Labs, AT&T-IS Labs and Bell Laboratories in a variety of managerial and technical positions. Rosemary E. Bettikofer, an Internet and telecommunications expert, will be managing director of technology. She has been a project manager with AT&T Business Internet Services, Call Sciences Corporation, AT&T WorldNet Online and PersonaLink Services and other AT&T units.
