Superior wins aluminum suspension components business. (Industry News: North America).
Superior Industries International, Inc., Van Nuys, California, has begun shipping production quantities of a new aluminum component used in a variety of GM's small car platforms. Superior is manufacturing the lower crankcase bed plate for 4-cylinder engine platforms at its aluminum components facility in Heber 1 Eponym of the Hebrews. It also appears as Eber.
