Re: Don McAdams's Board-Savvy Superintendent column ("Link Your Evaluation to District Performance," September 2006).

We are beginning to rewrite re·write

(2) A software-based control panel for one or more applications, network devices or industrial machines. Dashboards display simulated gauges and dials that look somewhat like an automobile dashboard.
" as well as what the Texas Association of School Boards is recommending in order to have more concrete data upon which to evaluate the superintendent.

The school board and I agree that going to a system that is driven by data and not personalities would better serve me (and future superintendents) as well as the school board.
