) - Suntory made a presentation on its recent research with Kyoto University Kyoto University (京都大学 Kyōto daigaku  at the 60th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nutrition and Food Science.

The two partners have been conducting research on a calorie-controlled diet, which is low in calories but supplies adequate amounts of proteins and major vitamins and minerals.

 the presentation, a 4-week intake of a calorie-controlled diet, in which subjects have a meal once a day, substantially reduces weight, body fat ratio and the waist and hip size. Further, it promotes fat burning.
