SunGard to acquire SCT; few changes expected.

 plan, SCT, one of the largest enterprise operations in the higher education industry, will become part of SunGard Data Systems (www.sungard.com).

The deal, announced in mid-December, has an aggregate value of $584 million, and should be completed by the first quarter of this year.

SCT will be an operating unit operating unit
