from Israel to the Dutch flower auctions have been successful.

SunBlush has undertaken three sea shipments of cut flowers over the past few weeks with two of the three major Dutch auctions, and the results have been excellent. To date, the Company has successfully tested trial shipments with varieties of flowers which represent over 50 percent of Israel's 1.6 billion stem export business.

Currently, the Company has had success in trials with the following varieties: Roses, Solidago Solidago

North American plant genus in the family Asteraceae; contain an unidentified toxin. In some outbreaks there is suspicion that the poisoning is caused by a fungus growing on the plant but tests with the plant alone have proved its toxicity.
, Gypsophila Gypsophila (jĭpsŏf`ələ): see pink. , Limonium, Carnations and Wax flowers. In addition, SunBlush has had success at the laboratory level with other commercially important flowers, and once commercial trials are complete, the Company's technology will be applicable to virtually all flowers exported from Israel.

"We are very encouraged by the success of the commercial trials in Israel," said C. Nigel Lees, Chief Executive Officer. "With the $500,000 grant from the Canada-Israel Industrial Research & Development Foundation, we will continue in our plans to develop the application of FreshSpan(tm) packaging for the export of Israeli flowers. We expect that royalties from cut flowers, including Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica Costa Rica (kŏs`tə rē`kə), officially Republic of Costa Rica, republic (2005 est. pop. 4,016,000), 19,575 sq mi (50,700 sq km), Central America. , where extensive commercial trials have also taken place, will significantly contribute to the future profitability of SunBlush. Cut flowers represent a great opportunity for the exploiting of our FreshSpan(tm) technology, given the high margin and perishability of floral products."

FreshSpan(tm) is one of the SunBlush's MAP technologies. The FreshSpan(tm) box technology allows produce, flowers and plants to be transported in a scientifically constructed corrugated cardboard Noun 1. corrugated cardboard - cardboard with corrugations (can be glued to flat cardboard on one or both sides)
