Sun and Sanga to Package Sanga Pages Software with the Netra j Server Family.

Sanga Pages, which debuted in September at Networld + Interop, transforms any Java-enabled browser into a powerful desktop from which users can easily create and launch customized, mission-critical Java applications A Java program that is run stand alone. Sun and Sanga have signed a non-binding letter of intent to ship the Sanga Pages demo software free of charge with the Netra j servers commencing December 1996. The Netra j server family's prices start at $7,695 (U.S. list); at the high end, a typical Netra j configuration costs just over $200,000 (U.S. list).

Sanga Pages is available on a standalone basis; pricing is determined by the number of clients, servers and developer seats needed, as well as the amount of customization and training required.
