Theatre Tuesday through Aug. 11 The second show of the season for Mad Duckling Children's Theatre, which puts on outdoor morning shows for kids, is ``Free to Be ... You and Me,'' adapted from the children's album by Marlo Thomas Marlo Thomas (born Margaret Julia Thomas on November 21, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actress, who first achieved fame on the TV series That Girl in the 1960s. and friends. In the story, best friends William and Janet play in a world that lets them be whatever they want. They join with friends Richard and Vickie to dress up and create fantastic situations where they discover that it is all right to be themselves, even if that means they are different from everyone else. Joseph Oyala and Charlotte Gallagher play William and Janet. Jermaine Golden is Richard, and Rebecca Morus is Vickie. Grease Upstart Crow Studios Tonight through Sunday "Grease" is the word this weekend as Upstart Crow Studios puts on a youth production of the popular musical, first at its home base in Eugene and then at the new Wildish Community Theater in Springfield. A cast of 40 youths and young adults will perform. Another 40 children, ages 5 to 12, will perform during scene changes. Shows begin at 7 p.m. tonight and Friday at the studios, 855 W. First Ave. Two more performances will be at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Wildish, 630 Main St., Springfield.
