(PD) announced on October 4 their agreement on restart of copper concentrator and construction of copper concentrate leaching facility at Morenci copper mine in Arizona. The Morenci Mining Joint Venture, to be run between SMM, SC and PD, will begin operating in 2007. Morenci Mining Joint Venture has approved expenditures of approximately US$210 million for these projects. The partners expect the annual production of electrolytic e·lec·tro·lyt·ic adj. 1.
