Sumitomo Corp. Signs 3 Billion Yen Deal to Construct Geothermal Plant in Indonesia.


Tokyo, Japan, Oct 19, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Sumitomo Corporation Sumitomo Corporation (住友商事, Sumitomo Shōji) TYO: 8053 is a highly built worldwide trading company (Sogo shosha), and is a diversified corporation based in Tokyo, Japan. It is a member company of the Sumitomo Group.  has concluded a 3 billion yen ($26 mil) turnkey contract with the Indonesian power provider PT. PLN PLN

Both companies have already completed jointly two other geothermal power generation projects in Indonesia. One of them build the world's largest plant with a power generation capacity of 110MW.
