Successful trade mission to Dubai for Amana Tech Inc. (Off the Wire).

Marketing director, Janea Bellay of Saskatoon-based Amana Tech Inc. recently returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates after signing a major contract with a multi-billion dollar group of companies, Al Ghurair Private Company, to provide web hosting services to more than 40 companies within the Al Ghurair Group. The agreement identifies the future use Amana Tech's other Web-based services such as live satellite broadcasting, real time streaming, Web design and database development by Al Ghurair.

The contract was signed at the Canadian Consulate in Dubai on May 11, 2002 in a ceremony attended by Canadian diplomats, Tim Marshall, manager of international development of Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP); Fouad Soueid, senior commercial officer of Canadian Consulate; Christopher Thornley, consul and senior trade commissioner of Canadian Consulate; Hatem Al-Sibai, IT director of Al Ghurair Private Company LLC; and Janea Bellay, marketing director of Amana Tech Inc.

Janea Bellay's mission to Dubai was also an opportunity to assess the market and meet with other clients. "We were very successful on our mission and the market in Dubai is very receptive to our services. Amana Tech Inc. is expecting a large increase in business from this trade mission," said Bellay.
