. The Women's Diagnostic Center is proud to announce the purchase of Computer Aided Detection. This new technology uses a computer to analyze mammograms. The computer acts as a "second opinion' for the physician and will alert a radiologist to take a closer look at subtle warning signs that might easily be missed. The Women's Diagnostic (enter is proud to soon have this new, equipment installed m their clinic to improve mammography mammography, diagnostic procedure that uses low-dose X rays to detect abnormalities in the breasts. The early diagnosis of breast cancer made possible by the routine use of mammography for screening women increases a woman's treatment alternatives and improves her  readings for West Hills Hospital patients. This breakthrough technology provides an extra level of protection that can assist the radiologist in breast cancer detection. Computer Aided Detection will improve early detection rates by up to 23%. The sooner we can detect breast cancer, the better the chances for our patients to survive living many happy years.
