 World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for technology markets, today announced the successful completion of Boston's inaugural LinuxWorld Conference & Expo(R), held February 14-17 at the Hynes Convention Center The John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center located in Boston's Back Bay has 193,000 square feet (0 m) of exhibit space and can accommodate up to four concurrent events. . Hundreds of new products were introduced at the event by companies such as IBM, Novell, HP, Red Hat, Oracle, Computer Associates, MySQL, CA, Sun and many others. The event featured an exhibit hall packed with over 180 of the most innovative companies serving the Linux and Open Source community - up from 150 exhibitors the previous year. The .Org pavilion hosted the non-profit organizations in the Linux community, and the Linux Rookery hosted Linux start-up companies and first time exhibitors.
