Success `In the Virtual Stars' for Meiselman-Rede Media Group Just Inked; Five-Picture Deal Includes Internet Premieres and TV Syndication.

Five is a lucky number for Meiselman-Rede Media Group.

Just five months into Y2K, after a highly successful sweep of attention at the NATPE Convention in New Orleans, a five-picture deal has become representative of each point on the golden star they now have in their grasp in cyberspace.

The pioneering duo, producer/writer team of David Meiselman and Roy Rede are now officially signed on to produce a new form of highly interactive feature films with multimedia spin-offs, including TV syndication with Kanakaris Communications in Orange County, Calif. -- the world's leader in Internet distribution of full-length motion pictures in multiple bandwidths.

On Saturday night, Atlas Supper Club at 3760 Wilshire Blvd. will be the celebration destination which charts the course for Meiselman-Rede Media Group on the "map" of production success. "We're celebrating 10 years, and having Meiselman-Rede join us for our `global' cuisine and worldly music is sure to add to our party atmosphere," stated Marie Cardenas of Atlas.

The first film is already in production at the Meiselman-Rede studio in Los Angeles. In addition, Meiselman-Rede will begin providing Kanakaris with exclusive Internet distribution of completed features within 30 days. Using the latest digital filming and editing techniques, Kanakaris and Meiselman-Rede believe they can cost-effectively produce programming, and will pursue multiple layers of revenue for each project including syndication rights and foreign distribution rights.

David Meiselman is a Nuyo-Puerto Rican Chicago-born producer, director and editor who has produced the critically acclaimed film "Fish Out of Water" and whose 10-year career boasts numerous credits including live theater in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Roy Rede is a writer, songwriter/producer and set designer, whose credits include the Emmy award-winning special "The NFL on Fox," and production design for award-winning commercials (McDonalds, Miller Beer), TV series (HBO's "Mr. Show," Comedy Central's "Strip Mall") and platinum-selling writing/production for Jane Olivor, Taylor Dayne and Dolly Parton.

Together, Meiselman-Rede have collaborated on other projects including "Outside Zander" and the fresh, new, claymation-esque two-minute racy soap opera, "Parisfalls.com" (currently airing on LoadTV.com) which received rave reviews and attention at NATPE in New Orleans earlier this year, with media attention from members of the foreign press, several dot com media outlets, Ed McMahon, and applauding cheers of celebrity support from Don King, Gloria Allred and Louie Anderson, to name a few.

In addition, Meiselman-Rede has recently provided outreach into the acting community, just finishing up a trio of seminars called "Creating, Developing & Pitching Your Project" at the 6th annual Back Stage West Actorfest in Universal City. Here they executed strategies to empower actors to stretch their creative muscles, finding resourceful ways to expand upon a multitude of abilities.
