Subscription rates for home delivery of newspaper to rise.

The byline on a newspaper or magazine article gives the name, and often the position, of the writer of the article.

Subscription rates for daily and Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week.  home delivery of The Register-Guard will increase Thursday Thursday: see week. .

Rates for four weeks of delivery will increase 50 cents for Pay-by-Mail subscribers. The price of the newspaper for carrier-collect subscribers will increase from $12.00 to $12.50 per month for Eugene/Springfield residents. Delivery outside the city zone will increase from $12.50 to $13.00 per month. The Register-Guard will honor As a verb, to accept a bill of exchange, or to pay a note, check, or accepted bill, at maturity. To pay or to accept and pay, or, where a credit so engages, to purchase or discount a draft complying with the terms of the draft.  current discounts and subscription terms for subscribers who pay in advance.

Subscribers who are on Easy-Pay, or Pay-by-Mail programs, will receive written notification of the increase prior to their next renewal date.

The increase in the home delivery rate is the first for Register-Guard subscribers since March 2004.

The newspaper's independent carriers will share in the increase.
