Subrata Roy's Ohrid complex to be one of world's best.
"The whole project is business driven. This is not going to be an average tourist complex but a destination that will be one of the world's top five or ten in this industry," Mr. Roy said.
His host, Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, emphasized that a coordination team of some thirty experts from relevant institutions in Macedonia and from Sahara Group had already been formed to define all legal, economic and environmental issues and expedite the implementation of the project. All state institutions dealing in environmental protection are involved as well so the project meets all environmental criteria.
"A floating hotel with a casino, a port, a top level golf course and a spa center will be constructed in Ohrid. Conference rooms, shopping centers and other facilities have also been proposed," the Ministry of Finance informed.
During his visit to Macedonia, Subrata Roy is also going to consider other opportunities for making investments in the country, in agriculture, tourism, and other sectors, and is also going to attend the laying of the cornerstone of the Mother Teresa monument in the center of Skopje.
