That is why "Acquisition Excellence with Integrity" was adopted as the number one goal for the acquisition workforce. While we are convinced that our acquisition workforce members consistently apply that principle, recent events have called the issue into question. Therefore, we are sending each of you this message to re-emphasize that nothing less than the highest standard of integrity is expected of every member of the acquisition workforce, and those who support them.
