The avalanche of success was kicked off on May 6 when Los Angeles bellwether station KLOS KLOS Kill and Loot on Sight (gaming guild)  officially added the band's cover of "I Don't Need No Doctor" (earlier recorded by Ray Charles and Humble Pie) to its very selective playlist A file that contains an index to a selected group of music files on the computer. Styx's take on the Great Rock Songbook -- classics of the '60s and '70s -- many of them favorites of the bandmembers and their fans, Big Bang Theory was inspired by a recording session at the legendary Chess Studios in hometown Chicago that resulted in the 2004 download and radio success of its rendition of The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus walrus, marine mammal, Odobenus rosmarus, found in Arctic seas. Largest of the fin-footed mammals, or pinnipeds (see seal), the walrus is also distinguished by its long tusks and by cheek pads bearing quill-like bristles. ." Since its 1972 debut, Styx has earned three triple platinum, one double platinum, one platinum and five gold albums. "Lady" was its first of 16 pop Top 40s.

Tommy Shaw (vocals, guitars), James "JY" Young (vocals, guitars), Lawrence Gowan (vocals, keyboards), Todd Sucherman (drums) and Ricky Phillips (bass guitar, backing vocals) are touring the U.S. and world throughout 2005.
