With a set of drum sticks and his 8 mm color home movie camera, musician turned actor Mickey Jones Mickey Jones (born June 10, 1941 in Houston, Texas) is an American musician and actor. Jones' career as a drummer had him backing up such artists as Trini Lopez and Johnny Rivers.  ("Slingblade," "Home Improvement") toured the world in 1966 with Bob Dylan Noun 1.  and The Band. "1966 World Tour: The Home Movies" chronicles this legendary and controversial "tour that changed Rock and Roll Forever" when Bob Dylan traded in his acoustic folk guitar for a hard edged, electric sound.

The home movies were recently discovered after being stored among Jones' personal belongings personal belongings nplefectos mpl personales  for over 35 years. Upon hearing the news, Joel Gilbert, who performs as Bob Dylan in the tribute band Highway 61 Revisited, convinced Jones to recount the story of the tour via these never-before-seen films.
