Students are keeping Pace with new styles.

One lucky student at Pace University's Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus will find an added incentive for going back to school this year, as Fortunoff in White Plains and Pace team up to offer the chance to win a fabulous room makeover.

All 1,200 new and returning live-in students at the Pleasantville/Briarcliff campus will have the opportunity to win the makeover, simply by filling out an entry blank provided with their "Welcome" package. The winner will be chosen at a random drawing in mid-September.

"This is an exciting time in the lives of these students, and we wanted to do something special for them to add to that excitement," said Arlene Putterman, Fortunoff's Vice President of Public Relations, "We've chosen the most up-to-date furnishings to decorate their room and will enjoy making their environment feel like 'home sweet home'."

A model room in Martin Hall has been decorated with the latest campus chic and will be available for viewing for students as they arrive back on campus, beginning Sunday, September 5th. One side of the room will be finished in decor for women, and the other side, for men.

"We're confident this will be a big hit with our residence hall students," said Cynthia Rubino, Vice President, Government and Community Relations for Pace University. "This is one of the ways we go the extra mile for our students."

The Pleasantville/ Briarcliff campus is set on 200 acres of rolling countryside, part of a preeminent institution of higher education, offering a broad range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. In 1977, Pace acquired Briarcliff College, in Briarcliff Manor, where residence halls, recreational facilities and administrative offices are located. Just a few miles apart, the campuses are administered together, and Pace provides shuttle bus service between them.
