Students and academics against the war.

Two resolutions against the Iraq War were passed. First, on January 7, 2005, the California Federation of Teachers Executive Council passed a resolution based on labor council resolutions in Alameda and South Bay. The resolution is to "end the war and protest our troops and veterans." Second, the American Studies Association Caucus on Academic and Community Activism proposed a Resolution on the U. S. Occupation of Iraq. For the full text of ASA's resolution, see www.left-alliance.org/asa_resolution.htm.

College and high school students have also been active against the war. On December 4, 2004, a citywide student march and rally was initiated by the Boston Student Mobilization to End the War.
