 describes how students with disabilities are doing in schools, academically and nonacademically, in a new report.

The report, "Educational Results for Students With Disabilities: What Do the Data Tell Us," relied on state accountability The traceability of actions performed on a system to a specific system entity (user, process, device). For example, the use of unique user identification and authentication supports accountability; the use of shared user IDs and passwords destroys accountability.  reports to discover what information states are giving the public. However, only 13 states provide academic data on students with disabilities.

Findings included:

1. Almost exact or correct: the approximate time of the accident.

2.
 30 to 50 percent fewer students with disabilities are meeting standards than students without disabilities; and

* Between 50 and 80 percent of the students with disabilities are participating in testing in the states that reported participation data.
