Student competition award sponsors.

For many years MTNA has enjoyed the support of individuals and corporations. The student competitions awards presented each year are made possible from the generosity of members through donations to the FOUNDATION FUND. Additional awards are provided by corporate and individual supporters.

For more than forty years, Baldwin Piano Company, Inc. has sponsored the Junior Piano Competition. The Yamaha Corporation of America, Piano Division supports the Senior Piano Competition. Additionally, the Yamaha Corporation of America, Band & Orchestral Division sponsors the Senior Percussion and the Junior String Competitions. MTNA also recognizes the support of Warner Bros. Publications for its sponsorship of the MTNA Composition Competitions and Steinway & Sons for its sponsorship of the Young Artist Piano Competition.

Member Jane E. Snow supports the MTNA Senior and Young Artist Voice Competitions. The second-place winner of the MTNA Senior Piano Competition is sponsored by Evelyn Linblad Folland.

These contributions, in addition to those of members, allow MTNA to encourage exceptionally talented young artists in their pursuit of musical excellence and recognize outstanding achievements in the music teaching profession through the National Student Competitions.
