Dr. Beatty stated that "Construction has begun on a new stud boar facility located in Faribault County, Minnesota which will be completed in the first quarter of 2000.

The buildings will house the Legred Struthers Genetics Pureline(TM) elite boar studs and a third adjoining building will house state of the art automated semen collection and packaging laboratory and embryo collection operating room.

When fully operational, the boar stud facility will produce over 1,800,000 units of genetically superior semen per year. Gross revenue in the first year of operation is projected to exceed $14,000,000.
