Structural Research & Analysis Corp. (SRAC) today announced that COSMOS/Works(TM), the best-selling design analysis program for SolidWorks(R) software, and COSMOS/DesignSTAR(TM), a powerful design analysis program that works with all popular 3D CAD programs, such as Solid Edge and Autodesk Inventor(R), are now certified on Intel's Pentium(R) 4 processor.

The Pentium 4 processor platform is based on the high-performance Intel(R) 850 chipset. The Intel 850 chipset's dual RDRAM* memory banks complement the Pentium 4 processor's 400 MHz system bus, providing up to 3.2 gigabytes of data per second. The Pentium 4 processor at 1.7 GHz is Intel's highest performance desktop processor as measured by the SPEC CPU* 2000 benchmark.
