Stronger acrylic for rapid prototyping.

A new opaque-blue acrylic photopolymer A photopolymer is a polymer which is cured by exposure to light, often in the ultraviolet spectrum. These polymers are useful in dentistry for fillings and in rapid prototyping in the stereolithography and PolyJet processes.  resin for rapid prototypes is said to be stronger than its transparent predecessor. Fishing reels are traditionally employed in the recreational sport of angling.  of both materials are pictured here.) VeroBlue is designed for the Eden333 PolyJet 3D printing system from Israel's Objet Geometries. Both the equipment and resin are sold here by Minneapolis-based Stratasys Inc. VeroBlue is the first of the new FullCure 800 series of colored resins. VeroWhite will be available early this year.
