Strong Phase IV Final Drilling Results at Tocantinzinho.

HOUSTON -- Brazauro Resources Corporation (TSX TSX Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE before April, 2002)

) is pleased to announce analytical results for the final five core holes of the latest (Phase IV) drilling campaign at its Tocantinzinho Project.

The Phase IV Tocantinzinho campaign consisted of 3,022 meters of core drilling in twelve holes: TOC 06-35 to TOC 06-46. Brazauro's Press Release of July 18, 2006, revealed the results of holes TOC 06-35 through TOC 06-41. The best results of the drilling campaign were in drill hole TOC 06-43, which intersected 196.76 meters grading 2.59 grams gold per tonne. The Phase IV drilling campaign achieved its objective to better define the known gold mineralization Mineralization

TOC 06-42 explored the northern limits of mineralization where drill hole spacing in the northeastern appendage appendage /ap·pen·dage/ (ah-pen´dij) a subordinate portion of a structure, or an outgrowth, such as a tail.

(0.35 g/t Au) over 172.6 meters of hole length, from a depth of 58.5 meters to the bottom of the hole at 230.10 meters. The highest grade interval ran 4.30 g/t gold over 2 meters within a subvolcanic rhyolite rhyolite, fine-grained light-colored acidic volcanic rock. Rhyolite is chemically the equivalent of granite, and is thus composed primarily of quartz and orthoclase feldspar with subordinate amounts of plagioclase feldspar, biotite mica, amphiboles, and pyroxenes.  porphyry Porphyry, Greek scholar

cover at 15.54 meters, to a depth of 212.0 meters, this hole intersected 196.76 meters grading 2.59 g/t gold. This interval contained two significant intervals of higher grade: 57.6 meters at 3.54 g/t (from 24.4m to 82.0m depth) and 36.0 meters at 5.97 g/t (from 109.0m to 145.0m depth). This hole clearly demonstrated the continuity of gold mineralization to levels higher up from the deeper intersection made by TOC 04-11 along Cross Section No. 6 in the initial phase of diamond drilling Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. To drill holes to max depths of twelve thousand feet, for the recovery of core used in verifying mineral .

TOC 06-44 was drilled along the same cross section as drill hole TOC 06-43, but aimed in the opposite direction, to probe the width of the capping andesite andesite

and to define the eastern limit of shallow gold mineralization just beyond the andesite. The hole was drilled towards the northeast at an inclination of -50 degrees. From 53.0 meters to 136.7 meters the hole intersected 83.7 meters grading 1.31 g/t gold, including a 32.8-meter-long interval of 2.38 g/t Au.

TOC 06-45 explored the region above TOC 06-16 along Cross Section No. 5. The hole was aimed along the cross section line at an inclination of -50 degrees. From a depth of 35.1 meters to 197.0 meters, the hole intersected 161.9 meters grading 0.91 g/t Au, including 50.0 meters grading 1.30 g/t Au from 35.4 meters to 85 meters.

TOC 06-46 was a wildcat wildcat, common name of two Old World cats, the European wildcat, Felis sylvestris, of Europe and W Asia, and the African wildcat, or kaffir cat, F. lybica, of Africa and Asia.  hole drilled to probe a soil geochemical gold anomaly located in a heavily placer-mined region about 750 meters to the south of the main Tocantinzinho gold zone. Only short intervals, widely spaced, in the range of 300 ppb Au, were intersected in the host granite by this 246.1 meter hole.

A summary of all 12 drill holes of Phase IV drilling campaign is shown in the table below. Note that intervals shown are drill intercepts and do not represent true widths.
