This core activity taking place primarily at night is now being complemented by new bulk fuel deliveries during daytime hours of 10,600,000 gallons. During its last fiscal year ended January 31, 2001 SMF delivered 57,600,000 gallons of fuel most of which were by wet hosing. The initial ramp up of bulk fuel deliveries is in California where SMF services provided to a major refiner are anticipated to grow the annualized bulk volume to approximately 30,000,000 gallons. The incremental wet hosing and bulk delivery volumes is expected to significantly increase the overall utilization of the SMF truck fleet and reduce both variable and fixed costs per gallon of fuel delivered. -- SMF is the industry leader in mobile fueling of environmentally friendly alternative fuels such as ultra-low sulfur diesel, bio-diesel and ethanol. As the most experienced and knowledgeable provider of these fuels to both the public and business sectors, SMF has gained recognition for its capabilities in this rapidly growing market segment. On June 28, 2001 Tim Koshollek, SMF Vice President of Marketing and Sales, was a guest speaker at the Southeastern Electric Exchange Conference of utility companies on the use and operating advantages of bio-diesel, oxy-diesel and E-85 ethanol-gasoline blend as alternative fuel solutions to EPACT compliance requirements. Well received by the attendees, the presentation provided a clear indication of the depth of SMF's understanding of contemporary fueling programs which are major opportunities being targeted by SMF.
