, licensing and technical support for the software industry, today announced its entry into the electronic world. Stream's Internet-based solutions go far beyond existing offers that simply sell software, providing a combination of multi-vendor technical support, dynamic one-to-one marketing, and secure and reliable transactions, that no other company can match.

A key outsource partner of leading ISVs and hardware OEMs, and a provider of software and services to corporate customers and consumers, Stream's entry into internet-based sales and support transactions is a natural evolution for the company. "Stream understands software -- how it's manufactured, how it's purchased, distributed, licensed, supported and deployed," said Mort Rosenthal, chairman of Stream "We're combining our existing software knowledge and expertise, leveraging the value of our long-time industry relationships, and melding these with a significant investment in a transaction engine that brings greater value, speed, and quality to software electronic commerce and support."

Stream has also selected AT&T's Easy World Wide Web (SM) (EW3) Services to host many of its software distribution web sites. The recently introduced AT&T EW3 Services is one of the industry's most comprehensive, end-to-end end-to-end
