The new subsidiary is the result of a joint venture agreement with Open Storage Solutions of Paris, France.

Open Storage Solutions was founded in early 1995 by Franck Borens, a 25-year veteran of the storage industry. The company is well known for its extensive industry contacts, customer relationships, and high degree of technical and systems integration expertise.

Borens has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of senior sales and marketing positions at Storage Technology Corporation. During his last eight years at that company, he was National Sales and Marketing Manager for Storage Technology France. As part of the agreement with Storage Computer, Borens will now serve as managing director of Storage Computer France.
