This Cisco Powered Network designation denotes that each of Storage Access' ASAP services is hosted and delivered over a network infrastructure built with Cisco equipment, providing an unmatched level of performance, availability and security to Storage Access customers.

ASAP Data Storage Services (Always Secure, Available and Protected) position Storage Access as the single point of contact for all of a business' data storage needs. Storage Access' Cisco Powered designated services include:
-- ASAP Data Protection, which insures critical data by providing 100%
guaranteed and secure backup and restore capability, providing a higher level
of efficiency and security than in-house backup and restore solutions.

-- ASAP Capacity on Demand, which provides always available, fully monitored
and managed data storage capacity for corporate computer systems, eliminating
expensive system shutdowns that result from a lack of storage space.

-- ASAP Space Management, which guarantees system uptime while maintaining fast
and easy access to critical data; this service transfers rarely used files from
local systems to a Space Management server, eliminating costly manual file
transfers.

-- ASAP Backup and Restore Management, which provides expert configuration,
monitoring and management of Tivoli systems, eliminating the need to employ
expensive internal storage management expertise.

ASAP services are delivered on a subscription basis, and are either hosted remotely or installed on a customer's site.

On customer sites, Storage Access deploys customer premise Cisco equipment that is designed to meet the specific requirements of the user. Often deployed is the Cisco 3002 Hardware VPN (Virtual Private Network) A private network that is configured within a public network (a carrier's network or the Internet) in order to take advantage of the economies of scale and management facilities of large networks.  Client, which establishes highly secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections between customer systems and Storage Access' Storage Utilities. Increased traffic volume may call for the installation of Cisco 3620 or 7200 Routers.
