 has completed the purchase of The Owensboro Towne Center, a 246,672 s/f retail center in Owensboro, Kentucky Owensboro is the third largest city in Kentucky and the county seat of Daviess County.GR6 It is located on U.S. Highway 60 about 32 miles southeast of Evansville, Indiana and is the principal city of the Owensboro, Kentucky Metropolitan Statistical Area. , the state's third largest city.

The Center is located on Frederica Street, the city's main retail corridor.

The $19 million transaction was spearheaded by Stonemar's acquisition team, which partnered with Kimco Realty Corp. The Center was purchased from Warm Springs LLC, a privately owned company.

Owensboro is the industrial. cultural, retail and healthcare hub of western Kentucky and southern Indiana Southern Indiana, in the United States, is notable because it is culturally distinct from the rest of the state. The area's geography has led to a blend of Northern and Southern culture that is not found in the rest of Indiana. . The Center is in an area with high-volume traffic and a stable population.

The purchase of the Owensboro Towne Center is representative of Stonemar's strategy of acquiring high-quality assets in strategic retail locations, including strong but under-recognized markets.

Stonemar Properties' investment strategy is to identify and acquire shopping centers located in major retail corridors within expanding secondary markets.

Nationally the acquisition team looks for locations with improving demographic trends, significant new housing starts and well positioned existing high quality properties with superior access, traffic and retail sales.
